Love in Colour, to me, is the idea of love as it is meant to be. As children we grow up with all these ideas, from fairytales and the like, that love is an all-consuming emotion, that it is like air.. more essential for a successful life than money, careers, possessions, and all the other things we seem to sometimes place above true love in our lives.
The idea most adults have in their minds of love nowadays seems to me, and no doubt many other of you hopeless romantics out there, as sadly ‘black-and-white’ when compared to timeless love stories such as Romeo and Juliet. Do you really believe that our idea of love does justice to the true strength and depths of this phoenomenon called love?
We have often said that we feel our love is stronger than the world we live in; that we would feel more at home in the world of fiction, with gallant princes and beautiful princesses, dragons, quests and adventures. With this blog I want to challenge you all. Let’s bring a bit of romance back to our world!
