My Fairytale

I’ve often thought our love belongs
In a world that hears our lovers songs
It’s just not right for us to be
Working class with bedrooms three

We belong in fairyland
My noble Prince should take my hand
Lead me to our castle in the air
Where we could live and love and share

But when I look through another’s sight
I see our love is life and light
When we are close, close as can be
I feel your love surrounding me

I close my eyes and there you are
My noble Prince by the breakfast bar
Nothing could be better than
My real life fairy-story man

Our love can flourish anywhere
So dragons, fairies, I don’t care
Our suburban fairytale, we start
With love in colour throughout our hearts

Love in Colour

This is my new blog, Love in Colour.

At the moment this is just a place for me to express myself: you will find songs, poetry and prose. Eventually I am hoping to write a book based on the idea of Love in Colour, which will become clear as this blog develops.
